Man Charged with Murder of Jason Williams in Basingstoke Park
Detectives have charged a man over the shocking murder of Jason Williams, whose body was found in Basingstoke’s Russell Howard Park just after midnight on Tuesday 20 February.
David John Brewer, 34, from West Ham Close, Basingstoke, faces a murder charge. He is set to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 24 February.
Investigation Ongoing as Another Man Released
A 37-year-old Basingstoke man, initially held by police, has been released but remains under investigation as officers continue to piece together what happened.
