Mindless vandalism of Ryde toilet block

There’s been widespread disgust after a public toilet was apparently vandalised overnight. The damage was discovered at the eastern toilet block. However, the suspicion is that the damage was caused by a local. Local town councillor Karen Luciano said the incident is very disappointing and is the people of Ryde who have been left to pick up the repair bill for this mindless vandalism. Stark pictures show the toilet taken off its plinth and the paper holder smashed from the wall It’s also understood taps were left running in the block.
