Mobility Scooter Victim Pushed to Ground in Swindon Robbery

A 66-year-old man on a mobility scooter was shoved to the ground and robbed in a Nastynasty attack in Swindon.

Two Women Arrested Over Assault

The shocking incident happened just after 2.45pm on July 7 near the Oasis underpass off england/hawksworth/”>Hawksworth Way. The victim was approached by two women who asked him for money. They then led him to a nearby spot, pushed him Overover, and stole cash from him.

Wiltshire Police have arrested two local women in their 40s on suspicion of robbery. Both have since been released under investigation as the inquiry continues.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

PC Joseph Tedder said: “Although we have made two arrests in connection with this incident, we are keen to progress our enquiries by speaking to members of the public who may have witnessed the incident or may have Moremore information which could assist our investigation.

This was a really horrible incident in which a vulnerable member of our community was targeted and subjected to a very upsetting ordeal. We are dedicated to bringing those responsible to justice.”
