Essex mum shares emotional funeral photos

Sophie-May Dickson, 32, from Essex, has been hit with a backlash after posting photos and videos from the funeral of her daughter Princess, 16. The teen took her own life following two years of relentless bullying on Tattle Life – a brutal online gossip forum notorious for mocking influencers.

Critics savage mum’s ‘night-out’ funeral look

Social media users have pounced on Sophie-May over her “glamorous” outfit and intimate shots of her resting her head on the coffin. Many say her white high heels and stylish attire looked more like a party than a funeral. One commenter said it was “contrived” and “inappropriate” for grieving.

But Sophie-May fired back, insisting that everyone mourns differently. The influencer posted a heartfelt caption:

“The day I tucked my baby to sleep for the very last time. The hardest goodbye. How do you ever accept kissing your baby for the very last time? I love you Princess. You are loved beyond belief. I’ll see you next in heaven girl. Please be at the gates to greet me when it’s my time and show me all around. Miss you so much – this missing piece will never ever be filled. You took a piece of me when you left.”

From trolling victim to mourning mother

Sophie-May, who featured on Channel 5’s Blingin’ Up Baby, was originally targeted by trolls herself. But after she deleted her account, the abuse shifted onto Princess. The cruelty endured by the teenager is nothing short of tragic.

Despite the savage online vitriol, Sophie-May stands firm, defending her right to grieve publicly as she sees fit. It’s a stark reminder that grief takes many forms – and nobody should judge a mother saying goodbye to her daughter.
