Pensioner left fighting for her life after Worcester Park Collision

Traffic officers are appealing for witnesses and information following a collision that has left an 85-year-old woman in a life-threatening condition. Police were called to Hampton Road, junction with Balmoral Road, in Worcester Park on Saturday, 12 October at 5.15pm to reports of a black Vauxhall Corsa in collision with a female pedestrian. The pedestrian was taken to hospital where she remains with serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle stopped in Kingsmead Road and has spoken to police. There have been no arrests. Officers would particularly like to hear from anyone who saw what happened or has dash cam footage of the incident. Anyone who can help is asked to call Merton traffic garage on 0208 543 5157.
