Police Appeal for Information After Racist Graffiti Found in York – UKNIP

Authorities are appealing for information following a disturbing incident of racist graffiti that marred the walls of a local shop. The hate-related criminal damage occurred at Costcutter, situated at the junction of Bramham Avenue and Bramham Road in the Acomb area of York. The incident took place around 2.40am on March 28.

The perpetrators brazenly brushed offensive symbols and words onto the shop’s walls and shutters, leaving a stain of hatred and intolerance. However, the resilient spirit of the community quickly emerged as locals rallied together to remove the offensive markings.
