Police fail to reach out after 12 year old is hit by hit and run driver in Portsmouth

Naomi Walsh from Portsmouth is appealing for witnesses and information after her son was struck by a vehicle and thrown from his bike that drove off and failed to stop. The incident happened outside Springfield school on Friday afternoon. Despite her son having a fractured collar bone and bruising to his right side and face and the vehicle failing to stop Police have failed to reach out to her. The upset mum feels let down after the car hit her son and drove off without evening seeing if her son was ok. The 12-year-old school was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries and the mum reported the incident to police but to date, they have failed to make any contact with her or offer her any advice on if they have launched an investigation.
