Police Release CCTV Images Following Wallet Theft in Cheshunt

Police have released CCTV images of two individuals they wish to identify in connection with a theft outside Tesco at the Brookfield Centre in Cheshunt.

The incident occurred at around 12.30pm on Monday, 27 January, when a wallet was reportedly stolen from a man’s jacket while he was outside the supermarket.

PC Stephen Cooper, who is leading the investigation, said:

“We are releasing these images because we believe the people pictured may have been in the area at the time and could have information to assist the investigation.

If you are pictured, or if you recognise the individuals, we urge you to get in touch as soon as possible.”

The theft is being treated as an opportunistic crime, and officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has relevant information.

Anyone who recognises the individuals or has information about the theft is asked to contact police quoting crime reference 41/8512/25.
