Power cut in Cowes leaves hundreds of Home without Power

Parts of Cowes without power this morning after the find of faulty cables by SSE workers. The company are hoping to have the power restored within the next back 4 hours. Staff have a been knocking doors of people effected. The reason given is they have found bad cables and need to dig further to correct the fault. This follows a second power cut and other upgrading works in and around the Cowes area More to follow
