Serious collision closes major road in Southampton
Police are currently dealing with a collision in Bursledon which has resulted in some road closures. The collision involves a motorcycle and rider. The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air ambulance have also been called to the scene to support Paramedics from the South Central ambulance service. There is a closure on the Windover Roundabout at Providence Hill and another closure on Providence Hill at the junction with Portsmouth Road. Drivers who use the road and surrounding are being advised to avoid this area and seeking an alternative route until the closures have been lifted.
