A shocking collision rocked Westerham High Street at 10.10am on Thursday, 26 February 2026. A white OneMX electric motorcycle smashed into a building near the New Street junction. The rider, a 19-year-old man, was seriously injured in the crash.
Police Chase Preceded Crash
The motorbike was spotted speeding north from Edenbridge. Officers in a police car followed the bike before the smash in Westerham’s High Street. When they reached the scene, they found the collision had already occurred.
Rider Stable After Hospitalisation
The injured rider was rushed to a London hospital. His condition is now reported as stable. Following the incident, a mandatory referral was made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
