Sunbury Cross, Surrey — Surrey Police are urging the public to avoid the Sunbury Cross area this afternoon, July 28, as they respond to a large gathering of motorcyclists that has spiraled into chaotic and dangerous behaviour. Reports have emerged of motorcyclists driving the wrong way up the A316 and the M3 slip road, running red lights, and even driving on pavements.
The situation escalated further with reports of a firework being set off in the Travelodge car park, leading to two men being hospitalized with injuries to their hands. In response to the growing disorder, Surrey Police have enacted a number of road closures around the vicinity to manage the situation safely.
