A 19-year-old has been arrested following a shocking hit-and-run in Birmingham that left a 13-year-old boy in a life-threatening condition.
Serious Collision in Nechells
West Midlands Police were called to St Andrews Road, Nechells, at 8:40pm on April 3 after reports a young boy had been hit while riding his bike. The driver fled the scene, leaving the child with suspected life-threatening injuries.
Suspect in Custody as Investigation Continues
The teenager was arrested shortly after the incident on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He remains in custody while police investigate.
