Kind-hearted cops in Birmingham spread some serious Easter cheer at the city’s Children’s Hospital. West Midlands Police staff handed out gifts and essentials to young patients, brightening a tough time for kids and their families.
Easter Eggs, Toys, and Clothes Donated
The Birmingham Offender Management Team chipped in with a sweet haul of Easter eggs. Local community members donated toys, while police sourced brand-new clothing from their property stores — including some gear recovered from theft cases. Engagement Officer Georgina Johnstone and PC Maja Nalewajek visited the hospital, chatting with children, families, and staff to spread goodwill and showcase ongoing partnership efforts across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
Police Say Partnership Is Key
“We’re always pleased to be able to support patients and families at the Children’s Hospital, especially over Easter,” said Sgt Olivia Reilly of Birmingham Partnerships. “Small acts of kindness from our teams and the local community can really make a difference to those going through a tough time. Partnership working, bringing our officers, staff, and community members together with local organisations, is key to making a difference to those who need it most.”
Thanks to these generous donations and community spirit, hospital patients enjoyed a brighter, happier Easter.
