Police in Lancing are appealing for witnesses to an unprovoked assault on a teenage boy, which occurred on Saturday, April 29th. The incident took place around 7:20 pm as the victim was walking through Monks Recreation Ground when he was approached and attacked by a group of girls near the basketball court.

The girls were believed to be aged between 13 to 15 years old, and one of them was wearing a green top, black jacket, and black tracksuit bottoms. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment but fortunately, did not suffer any serious injuries.
