The campaign to tackle anti-social behaviour and nuisance vehicles has continued with the seizure of two cars in the Tunbridge Wells area – UKNIP

On Thursday 13 July 2023, officers from the town’s Neighbourhood Task Force were responding to reports of criminal damage using catapults in Cranbrook, when a Ford Focus and Honda CRV were seen to avoid patrols in Frythe Way. The vehicles were later located having been left unattended nearby, and were seized as they were uninsured. The constables also recovered catapults from inside the Focus

Police Sergeant Ed Kavanagh said: ‘Residents have raised concerns about anti-social behaviour in the rural areas of Tunbridge Wells and these vehicles have been seized while we try to identify those who have been using them. They will also be investigated in connection with reports of criminal damage using catapults.
