The M40 in Warwickshire is closed northbound following multi vehicle collision

The M40 in Warwickshire is closed northbound between J12 (Gaydon B4100 ) and J14 (Warwick, A452) due to a multiple vehicle collision. All emergency services are working at the scene in a response being led by Warwickshire Police. Highways England have Traffic Officers and contractors working to assist with closures and debris clearance. A diversion route is available: Follow the “Solid Black Square” – Exit the M40 at J12 – Turn left and take the B4451 until it becomes the B4100 – Follow the B4100 towards Warwick – At the junction with the B4455 take the third exit and continue along the B4100 – Keep following the B4100 and it will become the A452 – At the next roundabout , take the 1st exit onto the A452 and this will lead to the M40 J14 – At the junction take the 1st exit and join the M40 northbound at J14 Please only travel if essential and remember , Stay Home | Protect Our NHS | Save Lives
