M40 Shuts Northbound After Multi-Car Crash in Warwickshire

The M40 is CLOSED northbound between Junction 12 (Gaydon B4100) and Junction 14 (Warwick, A452) following a serious multi-vehicle collision. Warwickshire Police are leading the emergency response, with all services on site.

Traffic Chaos and Diversions Underway

Highways England has dispatched Traffic Officers and contractors to manage closures and clear debris. Drivers are urged to avoid the area and only travel if essential.

Follow the “Solid Black Square” Diversion Route

1. Exit M40 at Junction 12 (Gaydon).
2. Turn left onto B4451, which becomes B4100.
3. Follow B4100 towards Warwick.
4. At B4455 junction, take the third exit continuing on B4100.
5. Stay on B4100 as it turns into A452.
6. At next roundabout, take the first exit onto A452 towards M40 Junction 14.
7. At Junction 14, take the first exit to rejoin M40 northbound.
