Two men have been found guilty in the shocking case of Reanne Coulson, whose body was buried in a shallow grave on the outskirts of Coventry.
Brutal Attack Ends in Tragedy
Reanne Coulson, 33, died after a violent attack in a Coventry flat. The grim discovery came after her body was found buried in woodland at Binley Woods, Coventry.
Her last sighting was near Coventry city centre at a church support group around 10pm on 21 May 2025. An hour later, a witness reported hearing a woman scream from Mohammed Durnion’s flat nearby.
Police searched the property after a 999 call but found no sign of Reanne. Her remains were only uncovered five and a half weeks later, on 27 June 2025.
Guilty Verdict After Intense Trial
On 24 March 2026, Warwick Crown Court convicted Mohammed Durnion, 42, of Paynes Lane, Coventry, of manslaughter. Adam Moore, 39, of Marlcroft, Willenhall, Coventry, was found guilty of assisting an offender by helping to dispose of Reanne’s body.
Durnion lied, claiming Reanne died from a drug overdose during an argument. Moore denied any wrongdoing, insisting he went to Binley Woods only to check on his friend’s mental health. The jury dismissed their stories.
Prosecution Hits Back
Giovanni D’Alessandro of the Crown Prosecution Service said: “This was an act that cruelly cut short the life of an innocent woman. Mohammed Durnion killed Reanne and then tried to dispose of her body to escape justice. Adam Moore helped him do it. Neither showed any remorse or accepted responsibility, forcing Reanne’s family to relive this nightmare in court.
“Thanks to CCTV, phone records, witness testimony, and forensic evidence, the jury was left in no doubt of their guilt. Our thoughts remain with Reanne’s family, who have shown immense courage. We hope this verdict brings them some justice.”
Both men face sentencing at a future date.
