A woman has been transported to the hospital following a crash that occurred earlier today in Abbey Wood. The incident unfolded on Abbey Road shortly before 10 am, causing road closures and disruptions in the area.
London Ambulance Service responded promptly to the scene after receiving reports of the collision. Upon arrival, they discovered a woman who had sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident. Medical personnel provided immediate care and stabilization before conveying her to a local hospital for further treatment. Her current condition remains undisclosed.
In response to the accident, authorities have implemented road closures on Abbey Road, affecting the stretch between Fossington Road and New Road. Additionally, bus route 229 has been diverted temporarily to accommodate the ongoing response efforts.
