Officers were pushed and had items thrown at them on Clapham Common at a vigil that turned into a protest after many refused to social distance and comply with requests to move on by officers.
A number of Police vehicles had the word “ACAB” painted on the sides Pink spray paint. One man was seen to kick and damage a wing mirror on a Police carrier. An Officer gave chase of the hooded man who was cheered as he made off from Police across the Common into the darkness. Many chanted murders at officers who had been sent to police the gathering despite a request from Sarah’s family not to attend. Officers made a number of arrests.
