A Maryland homeowner has sparked outrage after dialing up U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on a roofing crew she allegedly still owes a whopping £8,500. The six men were nearly finished with their job when she snitched. Even worse? She helped ICE detain them.
Homeowner’s Sneaky ICE Sting
The shocking showdown was caught on a livestream by Bryan Polanco, a crew member with permanent residency who luckily was not arrested. The footage shows the homeowner making the call as the workers wrap up the project, then actively aiding agents as they haul the men away.
Workers Left Stranded with Tools and Van
The six men, aged 18 to 40, were taken into custody with their work van abandoned on the street. Doors wide open, thousands of pounds worth of tools were left behind, leaving the crew stranded and out of pocket.
Did Owed Cash Prompt the Snitch?
Rumours swirl that the sting was motivated by the £8,500 the homeowner still owed. Legal experts say her actions could be felony territory—helping with detentions while stiffing payment might land her in hot water.
“You need to have a truly sick mind to pull a stunt like this and ruin lives just to score a free home makeover,” said one observer.
