Police have launched a murder probe after a young man was fatally shot in Camden on Saturday night.
Deadly Shooting Rocks Chalton Street
Officers were called to Chalton Street at around 11pm on 28 March after gunfire was reported. They found a 26-year-old man slumped inside a white Nissan Juke, riddled with bullets. Paramedics tried to save him but he died at the scene.
CCTV Shows Shooter’s Bike Escape
Quick CCTV checks revealed the victim was blasted multiple times while sitting in his car. Police say the gunman arrived on foot and sped off on a bicycle.
Detective Urges Locals to Speak Out
Detective Chief Inspector Joanna Yorke said: “We understand the community’s shock and concern. Our team is working relentlessly to find the shooter and bring them to justice. Anyone with information must get in touch – your tip could be crucial.”
