Police launch urgent hunt after shocking unprovoked attack on a 17-year-old boy in Sidcup.
Teen Sucker-Punched After Getting Off Bus
Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a brutal assault on a teenager on Old Farm Road East, Sidcup, last Tuesday afternoon.
Around 3:05pm on 14 January, the 17-year-old victim stepped off the number 51 bus at the Halfway Street / Old Farm Road East stop. Another man exited the same bus and was jostled by a group of passing schoolchildren.
Annoyed, the man stumbled into the teen, then started shouting and swearing in his face. When the teen tried to walk away, the stranger blocked his path and delivered a punch to his face before fleeing the scene.
Victim Suffers Fractured Eye Socket
A member of the public rushed to help the injured teen, who was later taken to hospital. He was diagnosed with a fractured eye socket following the savage assault.
