Joe Rogan might’ve helped fuel Trump’s rise, but now he’s turning on MAGA fans with a stinging insult. Speaking on his podcast with comedian Dave Smith, Rogan called the movement “a bunch of f***ing dorks.” Ouch. Why couldn’t he say that during the 2024 campaign?
Rogan Rips Into MAGA
Discussing the mess of a war in Iran, Rogan didn’t hold back.
“That phrase sucks… ‘Make America Great Again’, and then it becomes a movement of a bunch of f**king dorks, because a lot of them are dorks.”
He added: “A lot of them are these really weird, f-ing uninteresting, unintelligent people that have got something they cling to. There are a lot of genuine patriots, too, but they’re all lumped in together. And you got to accept the dorks? F that.”
Rogan Turns On Trump Too
Not just MAGA fans, but also Rogan has been critical of Trump himself lately. On another episode, he slammed the war in Iran as “exactly the opposite” of Trump’s campaign promise to end unnecessary foreign wars.
JD Vance Responds With Classic Tory Twist
Over the weekend, Trump ally JD Vance was grilled on Rogan’s comments during The Benny Show. When asked if he considered himself a “dork,” Vance dodged and flipped the script:
“I think we have many, many fewer dorks than the far left, but everybody’s got some dorks. We love our dorks. We love our cool kids. We love anybody who wants to save the country.”
Unsurprisingly, Vance dragged out “the far left” as a bogeyman – very on brand.
When asked about Rogan’s claim that “Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are better at deporting people than you,” Vance denied hearing it and promised to text Rogan to check. He insisted Trump’s team is “getting people out” after Biden allegedly opened the floodgates.
Can Rogan Fully Call Out Trump’s Middle East Mess?
But let’s be honest – Trump has a colossal mess on his hands in the Middle East. He’s desperate to spin it as a win for the US and Israel. Will Rogan have the guts to truly call him out?
Because there’s nothing “MAGA” about sending young Americans to die in foreign wars that only benefit other countries, who then use blackmail to control US politicians.
And what about those Epstein files? It’s been awfully quiet on that front…
