Lithuanian Community Rallies Around Grieving Family

The brutal killing has sent shockwaves through the Lithuanian community in the UK. Thousands have expressed heartbreak and an extraordinary wave of compassion has swept through the community.

“Her loss has been felt far beyond those who personally knew her,” said Alvija Černiauskaitė, chair of the Lithuanian Community UK. “It’s as if we’ve lost one of our own. The unity and support show just how strong our community is in times of unimaginable pain.”

Ms Černiauskaitė has launched a fundraiser to support Agnė’s grieving children. The campaign smashed its £10,000 target in hours, soaring to £34,256 from over a thousand donors within days.

Remembering Agnė: A Loving Mother and Kind Neighbour

The GoFundMe page describes Agnė as “a loving, devoted mother” and “a kind-hearted neighbour” whose smile and warmth touched everyone. Her children, two teenage sons and a 19-year-old daughter, are now left without their “most important person.”

“It’s not just loss. It’s an endless pain, silence, and emptiness that nothing can fill,” the fundraiser states.
