Six Injured After Vehicle Ploughs Into Crowd During Liverpool FC Parade

A festive celebration turned into chaos as a grey MPV drove into a crowd of spectators on Water Street during Liverpool FC’s Premier League title parade on May 26, 2025.

The incident occurred just past 6pm on the 15km parade route, which was lined with thousands of fans. At least six people are reported injured, with two seriously hurt.

Victims Identified

Emergency reports indicate:

  • A 21-year-old female was injured after the car hit near the Liffey Court, London Road, Liverpool
  • A 20-year-old male was found unresponsive and lying on the pavement nearby.
  • Four additional individuals sustained minor injuries.

Emergency Response

Merseyside Police, North West Ambulance Service, and fire crews quickly responded. Police have confirmed that the vehicle stopped at the scene and a driver has been arrested.
