Thousands Stolen in Liss House Burglaries

Police are appealing for witnesses after two burglaries in Liss on Thursday (19 April) morning. Sometime between 9am and noon a man is believed to have knocked the door of two properties – one in Farther Common and one in Stodham Lane – before forcing entry to the homes. The main bedrooms were searched, before the offender left with thousands of pounds worth of jewellery. The suspect arrived on a large, silver, sports-style motorbike, which had minor damage to the fuel cap. The suspect is described as: Male Mediterranean appearance Foreign accent Shoulder length, greasy, black hair He was wearing a green camouflage motorcycle jacket and trousers, black and white motorcycle gloves and trainers. Police would like to hear from anyone who recognises the suspect from the description, or saw him in Liss on the morning of Thursday, 19 April.
