Christmas may seem far off, but at Brighton & Hove Buses, preparations have been in full swing for several months as the city gets ready to welcome back the much-loved Santa Bus. Proudly known as the UK’s largest Santa Bus operation, this festive favourite is set to bring holiday cheer to the streets once again, while raising vital funds for local charities.

Since its inception, the Santa Bus has raised an impressive £417,000, helping support numerous charities and making a significant impact in the local community. This year, the Santa Bus will be on the move once more, travelling 20 different routes over 20 nights, starting on Monday, November 25th, and running until Monday, December 23rd, 2024.

In 2024, the Santa Bus will raise money for 12 incredible local charities: Martlets, Chestnut Tree House, Brighton and Hove Museums, Rockinghorse Children’s Charity, Amaze, Clock Tower Sanctuary, Fareshare Sussex & Surrey, Together Co, Possability People, East Sussex WRAS Wildlife Rescue, MindOut, and Brighton Women’s Centre.
Santa Claus himself was also thrilled to be back, saying, “Ho Ho Ho! It’s a joy to be part of this amazing tradition and to help raise money for such deserving causes. A huge thank you to everyone at Brighton & Hove Buses, and of course, to Rudolf for being an ever-reliable travel companion!”

With a brand new bus and exciting announcements still to come, Brighton & Hove’s Santa Bus is ready to spread the magic of Christmas once again. Make sure to catch the bus in your neighbourhood and be a part of this heartwarming holiday tradition.
