Northumbria Police are seeking potential witnesses following an incident where a vehicle was intentionally driven into a store in Sunderland before being ignited.
Police were summoned to Tan Solo on Ryhope Road in the Grangetown community at 11.12pm on Monday.
Upon arrival, Police discovered a silver car that had been maliciously maneuvered through the storefront shutters before being set ablaze.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries; however, the shop and nearby properties sustained significant damage.
