Rolling Stone Announce UK Tour

The Rolling Stones will return to stages around the UK, Ireland and Europe this summer after a five-year absence. Now, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood will play five shows in the UK, the first since headlining Glastonbury and two performances in Hyde Park. In London, The Rolling Stones will perform at the London Stadium, host of the Olympic Games, on 22nd May and then in Twickenham on 19th June. In between, the band will visit Manchester’s Old Trafford football stadium (5th June), Murrayfield stadium in Edinburgh (9th June) and the Principality stadium in Cardiff (15th June). A statement said that the shows would have “a set list packed full of classics such as Satisfaction, Paint It Black, Tumbling Dice and Brown Sugar” but would also perform “unexpected tracks and randomly selected surprises” from their back catalogue. Tickets for the UK shows will go on general sale at 9am on Friday.
