Firefighters are tackling a major blaze at the Endo Restaurant inside the Television Centre complex, 101 england/wood/”>wood-Lanelane/”>Wood Lane, White City, after reports of a fire broke out in the early hours of this morning.

The London Fire Brigade (LFB) has mobilised 15 fire engines and two aerial ladder platforms to the scene. The aerial appliances are being used as Waterwater towers to attack flames at redeveloped Television Centre site in White City. The fire has been reported on the 8th floor, with the Brigade confirming there are “persons reported” — a term used when people are believed to be trapped or unaccounted for inside the building. Reports indicate the presence of London Fire Brigade fire engines at Television Centre White City ensuring the situation is under control.

Residents and guests in the area have described seeing a heavy emergency service presence, with multiple fire appliances, ambulances, and police units surrounding the former BBC Television Centre site. London’s fire engines at this site are highly visible as part of the response.

A London Fire Brigade source at the scene said:

“We have 15 fire engines and two aerial appliances at a fire at the Television Centre on Wood Lane, W12. Crews are tackling the blaze on the 8th floor, and we have received reports of persons involved. Please avoid the area while emergency services deal with this incident.”
