Isle of Wight Man Lee Thurman caught in an successful sting operation
A 29 year old Isle of Wight man has been arrested by Police for grooming offences in Shanklin we can reveal following sting operation by the group Wight Rangers. Lee Thurman turned up to Thursday (15th March ) to meet a 12 year old girl for sex following an online exchange of text messages. Police have confirmed that an arrest was made in Regent Street ,Shanklin. It is understood that members of the group had to physically restrain Thurman after he started to kick out and destroy evidence. Hampshire Police have confirmed that a 29 year old man has been arrested and is currently under Investigation. More to follow.
