Detectives arrest man on suspicion of Gillingham murder
Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate have arrested a man after a body was found at an address in Firethorn Close, Gillingham. The man, who is in his 30’s and from Gillingham, was arrested on suspicion of murder, in Gillingham at around 12.20am on 15 February 2019. Kent Police" id="84139">Kent Police was called by Kent Fire and Rescue Service at 10.32am on 14 February 2019 following a report of a fire at the address and upon entering found the body of a deceased man. The suspect is believed to be known to the victim and remains in custody at this time.
