Several people injured but no fatalities following collision on junction in Basingstoke

There has been a serious road traffic incident at the junction of Winklebury Way and Roman Road in Basingstoke.

Several people have been injured but no fatalities.   Fire Incident Commanders  have advises that due to the various spillages from the vehicles involved that it will take at least 2-3 hours to clear everything and restore normal flow of traffic. It has requested that if you can do  to seek  an alternative route avoiding this junction this evening.
