Kent Police are on the lookout for two suspects following a chilling robbery attempt on an elderly lady in Gravesend.
Thieves Target Elderly Woman on Busy Windmill Street
The shocking incident happened around 11:30am on Monday, March 25, in the heart of Gravesend’s pedestrianised Windmill Street. An 80-something woman had fallen to the ground when two women, thought to be in their 30s, tried to pinch her jewellery.
Failed Heist Foiled by Victim’s Shouts
Luckily, the brave pensioner’s cries alerted passersby, forcing the culprits to scarper empty-handed. The pair are described as about five feet tall with dark hair and remain at large.
