Suspect Nabbed in Afternoon Arrest
Police have arrested a 24-year-old Brighton man following reports of a man wielding a machete outside Brighton Aldridge Community Academy. The arrest happened at noon on Friday, September 18, on suspicion of affray.
The suspect is still in custody as the investigation continues.
School Locked Down After Scary Sighting
The incident unfolded just before 3pm on Thursday when officers rushed to the school after reports of a man carrying a machete nearby. Police stayed on site to ensure students could leave safely.
