It was reported that at around 6.35pm on Sunday 30 May 2021, a man in his 30s was assaulted by another after speaking to him in the front courtyard of a pub in Beach Street. Officers and paramedics were called to the scene, and the victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries to his leg and head. The suspect is described as a white man, with short black wavy hair and a beard. He was reportedly wearing sunglasses, a black T-shirt with a white logo on the chest, blue jeans and black trainers.
