Man Charged with Murder After Richmond Bridge Brawl

Ross Hamilton, 32, of Wood Lane, Isleworth, has been charged with the murder of Reece Newcombe and common assault. The charges follow a violent late-night fight on Richmond Bridge.

Tragic Death After Early Morning Fight

Police were called to Richmond Bridge at around 4am on Saturday, 26 November after reports of a brawl. Reece Newcombe, 31, from Egham, was found critically injured at the scene. He later died in hospital that same morning.

Two Men Arrested Over Fatal Attack

  • Ross Hamilton was arrested on Monday, 28 November and charged the next day.
  • A second man, 28, was also arrested on Tuesday, 29 November on suspicion of murder. He was released on bail to return in early January 2023.

Next Court Appearance Scheduled

Hamilton is set to appear in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 30 November. The investigation remains ongoing as police piece together what sparked the deadly fight.
