Metropolitan Police Officer Dismissed for Gross Misconduct Following Hearing – UKNIP

A serving Metropolitan Police officer has been dismissed without notice after a misconduct hearing concluded on Wednesday, July 19. PC Wesley Griffith, who was attached to the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command, was found to have breached the standards of professional behaviour at the level of gross misconduct.

The misconduct hearing examined allegations that PC Griffith’s behaviour towards a woman, who was known to him, was controlling and coercive. Additionally, it was alleged that he assaulted her during an argument in February 2022, while he was off-duty.
