Lorry Hits Cyclist on Battersea Bridge – Woman, 27, Dies
Tragedy struck Battersea Bridge on Thursday morning, August 10, when a lorry collided with a cyclist, killing a 27-year-old woman on the spot. The victim, from Battersea, was pronounced dead at the scene following the devastating crash on the north side of the bridge.
Lorry Flees Scene – Driver Later Traced by Police
Police were called at 7.55am, but the lorry driver drove off without stopping. Officers tracked the vehicle down later in Fulham and have spoken to the driver, who remains free as investigations continue. The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is now leading the probe into the fatal crash.
