The three children who tragically lost their lives in a devastating house fire in East Ham have been named as their grieving parents paid an emotional tribute to them.
The blaze broke out in a terraced property on Napier Road just after 8.30am on Saturday, 13 July. Despite the swift response of emergency services, seven-year-old Muhammad Hanan Malik, 11-year-old Aayat Malik, and 13-year-old Nakash Malik could not be saved.
The community in East Ham has been deeply affected by the tragedy, with many local residents and school friends leaving flowers and messages of condolence outside the family’s home. A vigil is planned for later this week to honor the memory of Muhammad, Aayat, and Nakash.
