Police renew their Appeal for Witnesses After Tragic Collision in Hartcliffe Claims Life of 5-Year-Old Girl

On Wednesday, August 14, at approximately 8.20 pm, police responded to a distressing accident on Bishport Avenue in Hartcliffe. The single-vehicle collision resulted in four individuals being rushed to the hospital, one of whom was in serious condition.

Tragically, it has now been confirmed by authorities that a five-year-old girl, who was among those injured, has succumbed to her injuries this week. The child’s family has been notified and is currently receiving support from a specially-trained family liaison officer during this incredibly difficult time.

As the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision continues, law enforcement officials are renewing their appeal for witnesses.
