Armed officers from the Metropolitan Police’s SO15 Counter Terrorism Command were called to the scene of a double shooting in the early hours of the morning in Canning Town.

The incident occurred on Rogers Road, E16, and police and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service responded swiftly.

According to reports, one man sustained a gunshot wound to the back, while a second individual was shot in the hand.
The current condition of both victims remains unclear as authorities work to gather more information. Neighbours in the area reported hearing gunshots before witnessing a vehicle speeding away from the scene.

Specialist paramedics and response units treated both victims on-site before they were transported to a local hospital for further care.
The Metropolitan Police have since cordoned off Rogers Road and initiated an extensive search operation in the area to locate those involved in the shooting.
