Police have named a woman charged in connection with a two-vehicle collision on the A34 Clayton Bypass in Congleton.
Joanne Copestick, 49, has been accused of drink-driving following the crash, which occurred shortly after 4:00 PM on Saturday. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, where one of the drivers—Copestick—was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
A passenger from one of the vehicles was taken to the hospital for assessment, though the extent of their injuries remains unclear. Authorities have not disclosed further details about the condition of those involved.
