Urgent Search Underway for Missing 13-Year-Old Mia

A desperate hunt continues for 13-year-old Mia, who has now been missing for more than 48 hours. The Staffordshire schoolgirl vanished after a late-night trip, sparking fears for her safety.

Last Seen Across Staffordshire and Birmingham

Mia, from Staffordshire, was last spotted on Wednesday evening (April 23) after travelling to the Hednesford area with another girl.

  • She boarded a train to Walsall, where CCTV caught her at around 11.30pm.
  • The final confirmed sighting was at 1.20am on Thursday in Erdington, Birmingham.

What Mia Looks Like

Mia is described as:

  • Around 5ft 4ins tall
  • Of a slim build
  • With shoulder-length blonde hair

On the night she disappeared, Mia was wearing a grey tracksuit. CCTV footage shows her jacket was unzipped, revealing a black top underneath.

Police Make Urgent Appeal

Staffordshire Police say detectives are “working tirelessly” to find Mia and are deeply concerned for her welfare.

Detective Chief Inspector Helen Kirkland said:

“We’re urging anyone who may have seen Mia or who might know where she is to get in touch with us as soon as possible. We’re working around the clock to investigate potential sightings and speak to anyone who may have seen her since she went missing. We’re worried about her and are asking for any information, no matter how small, that might help us locate her.”
