Wiltshire Police Appeal After Driver Fails to Stop Following Collision

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman in her 60s was struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident near Chippenham.

The collision occurred on Honey Knob Hill, Kington St Michael, at approximately 10:30am on Monday, 29 April. A dark blue Ford Fiesta is believed to have reversed into a parked car before hitting the woman, who sustained a head injury.

Fortunately, the injury is not believed to be serious, but the driver failed to stop at the scene.

Police say the suspect is a white woman aged between 60 and 70 years old. She reportedly fled the area following the incident without offering assistance or providing details.

Appeal for Footage and Information

Wiltshire Police are asking residents in the area to check CCTV, dashcams, and Ring doorbells for any footage that may have captured the incident or the vehicle involved.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant video footage is urged to call 101, quoting reference 54250051442.
