Man Dies After Collapsing Outside Leigh Delamere Services on M4

A man tragically died after collapsing outside Leigh Delamere Services on the M4 near Chippenham.

Emergency Crews Race to the Scene

Emergency services were called at around 4pm on Sunday, 29 March. Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance swiftly scrambled to the location, landing their yellow and green helicopter in the lorry car park.

Critical care medics from the air ambulance teamed up with local paramedics to provide urgent treatment. Despite their desperate efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Confirm No Suspicious Circumstances

Wiltshire Police confirmed the death was due to a medical emergency and ruled out any suspicious circumstances.

“Our thoughts are with his family,” a police spokesperson said.
