Boy, 10, Fighting for Life After Horror Stanmore Scooter Crash
A 10-year-old boy is in critical condition after a terrifying collision in Stanmore. The youngster was hit while scooting across Honeypot Lane at around 8:30am on Sunday, 25 January.
Driver Arrested After Crash
Emergency services, including London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance, rushed to the scene and swiftly took the boy to hospital.
The driver, a 28-year-old man, stayed at the scene. He was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. After questioning, he has been released on bail.
Police Launch Urgent Appeal for Witnesses and Videos
Police urgently want anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage of a black Volkswagen Golf GTI near Honeypot Lane between 8:15am and 8:35am to come forward.
