Eight men have been arrested for gang-raping an 18-year-old British tourist at the BH Mallorca Resort in Magaluf, Mallorca. The attackers are seven French nationals and one Swiss man who brutally assaulted the young woman while she was heavily intoxicated and unconscious.

The Attackers Named

  • Khalil Abderrahmen Mejbri (France)
  • Romain Charles Michel Galatioto (France)
  • Anthony Guy Gerard Wengler (France)
  • Lucas Haiaiel Ngandjeu Djamen Tchatchou (Switzerland)
  • Thomas Eric Coretin Wisniewski (France)
  • Satilmis Sahan (France)
  • Anthony Auque (France)
  • Mouhamadou Wade (France)

The court revealed chilling details: Mejbri and Galatioto led the assault while the victim was unconscious. Wengler and Tchatchou raped her at least once, joined by Wisniewski. During the attack, the victim was spat on, whipped, slapped, and subjected to vile chants and laughter from the group. Auque and Wade stood by, encouraging the sick act.

Harsh Sentences Imposed

Mejbri and Wisniewski admitted to “sexual assault with carnal access” — non-consensual penetration — and were jailed for nine years. Wengler, Tchatchou, and Galatioto pleaded guilty to the same crime and received 11-year prison sentences.

“The victim was in a state of unconsciousness following heavy drinking,” the court head explained.

Outrage Over Isolated Incident in Magaluf

This brutal crime has shocked the popular holiday hotspot known for wild nights out. The gang’s depraved behaviour and the chilling way they surrounded the victim during a 30-minute ordeal mark a dark chapter in Magaluf’s party town reputation.
